PURPOSE:To provide superior magnetic characteristics by adding a specified amount of an org. binder contg. no metallic element to metallic powder contg. Fe, Cr and Co as essential components, molding them, and carrying out deoxidation with C remaining after degreasing. CONSTITUTION:A powdered starting material whose base is metallic powder contg. Fe, Cr and Co as essential components is molded, sintered, and heat- treated to manufacture an Fe-Cr-Co type sintered magnet alloy. At this time, to 100pts.wt. of the metallic powder is added 0.05-10pts.wt. org. binder contg. no metallic element, and they are molded. The molded body is treated at <=800 deg.C to remove the binder, and reduction treatment is carried out at 900-1,250 deg.C in vacuum.
