<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyisocyanate composition for rigid polyurethane foam production which has very excellent liquid storage stability and gives a rigid polyurethane foam excellent in adhesive performance and mechanical properties (e.g., dimensional stability), and is desirable especially in the case where water is used as a blowing agent and to provide a method for producing a rigid polyurethane foam using the polyisocyanate composition. <P>SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by using a polyisocyanate composition for rigid polyurethane foam production comprising a hydroxy compound obtained by reacting an organic polyisocyanate, a tertiary amine containing compound and a monocarboxylic acid in equimolar amounts and having one hydroxyl group in one molecule. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
