<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of efficiently using a storage part by providing a virtual folder behaving apparently as a shared folder on a network, and providing various data processing or the like by using the virtual folder, and to provide a program. <P>SOLUTION: In the virtual folder generation part 11a of a control part 11, at least one virtual folder behaving like a shared installed is provided on a network 21 by using a work area achieved mainly by the main memory of a storage part 17.
