<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic hard coat composition forming an antistatic hard coat layer which not only is excellent in an antistatic property, transparency, hardness, and scratch resistance but also has high bending resistance, and an optical article obtained by using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The antistatic hard coat composition includes: a component A, a polymerizable compound having two or more ethylenically unsaturated groups in a molecule; a component B, at least one kind of metal oxide fine particles selected from a group composed of zirconium oxide fine particles, zinc oxide fine particles, titanium oxide fine particles, and aluminum oxide fine particles; a component C, a cationic antistatic agent; and a component D, a photopolymerization initiator, wherein a blending amount of the component B is 20 to 75 mass% with respect to the total amount of the components A, B, and C, and a blending amount of the component C is 2 to 15 mass% with respect to the total amount of the components A, B, and C. Furthermore, the optical article has the antistatic hard coat layer formed by using the antistatic hard coat composition, and layer thickness of the antistatic hard coat layer is 1 to 10 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
