<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding system and bookbinding apparatus easy to use for users which prevents a malfunction of a bookbinding apparatus and realizes quality level guarantee of the bound material. <P>SOLUTION: The bookbinding system includes an image forming device 10 and bookcasing device 500. The bookcasing device 500 detects a thickness of the bound medium sheets of paper and receive size information of the medium sheets of paper, the book cover, and the finished product from the image forming device 10. Further, the bookcasing device 500 determines whether the bookbinding operation is proper or not from the detected thickness value of the bound medium sheets of paper and the received size information of the medium sheets of paper, the book cover, and the finished product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
