摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of acquiring a calorific value required for defrosting, without using a heat source except for a compressor. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioners 100, 200, 300 and 400 have a compressor 3, an outdoor heat exchanger 4, an indoor heat exchanger 5, a solenoid expansion valve EV1, a heat storage material 9, a heat storage heat exchanger 8 and heat storage pipes 90 and 121. The compressor 3 compresses a refrigerant. The outdoor heat exchanger 4 functions as an evaporator of at least the refrigerant, and the indoor heat exchanger 5 functions as a condenser of at least the refrigerant. The solenoid expansion valve EV1 reduces pressure of the refrigerant. The heat storage material 9 is arranged in the vicinity of the compressor 3. The heat storage heat exchanger 8 functions as a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the heat storage material 9 and the refrigerant.
