PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution film forming method and solution film forming equipment, for manufacturing film with optical characteristics. SOLUTION: A flow casting film is formed by casting a casting dope on a casting band. The flow casting film is peeled off from the flow casting band to obtain a wet film 18. The wet film 18 is guided to a tenter drier 45 via a passage part 90. In the tenter drier 45, a tenter 130 performs dry processing, extension processing and alleviation processing of the wet film 18 while conveying the wet film 18 to obtain a film 22. A boeing phenomenon is generated in the wet film 18 by conveyance in a tenter drying chamber 45. By the phenomenon, first optical axis misalignment is generated in the wet film 18 and dispersion is generated in a late axis. According to the present invention, since second optical axis misalignment which can be offset against the first optical axis misalignment is formed on the wet film 18 by the extension processing in a third zone 123, the film 22 with suppressed dispersion of the delay axis is manufactured.
