PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the combustion rate of a pulverized coal in a blast furnace by using a coal having low volatile content as the pulverized coal for the blast furnace injection in the consideration of the property of the pulverized coal when the pulverized coal is used. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the pulverized coal for blast furnace injection by pulverizing coal, the coal is pulverized so that the mass ratioα(%) of the pulverized coal having≤(20±z)μm grain diameter satisfies the following inequality.α≥β-γ×VM. Wherein,βis constant decided with the combustion ratio in the setting evaluating reference,γis factor decided with the combustion ratio in the setting evaluating reference, and VM is average content (%) of volatilizing material in the pulverized coal for injecting into the blast furnace.
