PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite joint material which has no restriction in the shape and material of a joinable member, does not need surface treatment for improving wettability, further, can be recycled, has high strength and does not cause resistive heat generation. SOLUTION: The joint material 1 is formed by uniformly dispersing ITO (In<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-SnO<SB>2</SB>) powder 3 into a metal phase 2 made of any metallic material among In, In alloy and Sn alloy.
