PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the aesthetic appearance of a buoyancy object for a boat attached to the side of a hull. SOLUTION: This buoyancy object body 14 forming a buoyancy object 10 for a boat comprises a pair of side surface sheets 15, 16 opposed to each other. The outer edge parts of the side surface sheets 15, 16 are joined to each other through a band-like sheet 17. A large number of tense yarns 18 are installed in the buoyancy object body 14, and the end parts of the tense yarns 18 are connected to both side surface sheets 15, 16. Namely, the interval of the side surface sheets 15, 16 is restrained by the large number of tense yarns 18, and when the buoyancy object body 14 is filled with air, the interval of the side surface sheets 15, 16 are limited by the tense yarns 18 without being enlarged. Since the buoyancy object body 14 filled with air can be formed thin in a plate shape, the buoyancy object body 14 can be attractively installed on the hull. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
