PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning tool capable of widely applying to a gap between a position at which a screw is tightened or loosened and a member for retaining the screw. SOLUTION: This turning tool 1 including the retaining member 2 which retains the screw X on one edge side, a rotating shaft body 3 on the other edge side, and a shaft member 4 which joints the rotating shaft body 3 with the retaining member 2 has a square hole 24 formed on the other edge side of the retaining member 2, a square pole 43 to constitute the shaft member 4, and a square hole 34 formed on the one edge side of the rotating shaft body 3. The retaining member 2 and the shaft member 4, and the rotating shaft body 3 and the shaft member 4 are fitted so as not to mutually rotate and jointed so as to move in an axial direction and a diametrical direction respectively, and are supported in such a direction as to separate from each other by a spring 5, thus maintaining the joint state.
