PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for forming a metallic glass, with which the fine metallic glass formed product can be manufactured with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The forming method for metallic glass, with which a material for forming the metallic glass is melted and the molten material for forming the metallic glass is formed by using a mold, includes: heating the material for forming the metallic glass and the mold and melting the material for forming the metallic glass; while heating the molten material for forming the metallic glass and the mold, applying pressure to the material for forming the metallic glass to be impregnated into the mold; and cooling the mold with the material for forming the metallic glass impregnated thereto to solidify the molten material for forming the metallic glass.
