PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium removing method capable of efficiently removing calcium while reducing maintenance cost, and a calcium removing apparatus. SOLUTION: In the calcium removing method for precipitating calcium contained in water to be treated as an insoluble salt by adding a calcium removing agent to the water to be treated which is adjusted to a predetermined pH range showing alkalinity by injecting a pH controller in the water to be treated, the water to be treated is adjusted to different pH ranges on the basis of the temperature of the water to be treated and the water to be treated is adjusted to a pH range so that pH becomes high on the low temperature side where the temperature of the water to be treated is lower than a high temperature side with respect to a predetermined temperature region.
