PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water absorption plate for Tsukemen (dipping noodles), which retains a draining effect by appropriately absorbing water from Tsukemen, prevents the problem that Tsukemen is stuck to the surface of the served plate and difficult to pick it up with chopsticks, have a high usability and reflects an individual design while having practicality. SOLUTION: The absorption plate body 2 is constituted using a porous material, and the served surface 3 of the absorption plate body 2 is formed of a pattern formed by alternately adjoining linear water-absorbing surfaces 31 having the porous material exposed in narrow lines and linear water-repellent surfaces 32 having water repellent property.
