The filter system has a set of filter elements (5) i.e. filter cartridges, inserted into an exhaust air duct (6) for cleaning of suction air flow of fine dust produced by a fan (1). The filter elements are automatically cleaned by quick action valves (4) or by temporary or differential pressure control with compressed air from a compressed air tank (3), where the filter elements cleaning degree is differential pressure-controlled temporally. The quick action valves are attached in a clean gas area (2).
