The method involves removing two adjacent upper insertion screws. A thread is cut in flange drillings (11, 14) of flanges (4, 8), where the drillings are aligned with one another. Adjusting screws are turned around a stopper by the flange drillings. The insertion screws of the flanges are loosened. The flanges are pressed apart by the adjustment screws. An isolating plate (6) is inserted between sealing surfaces (5) of the flanges. The adjusting screws are removed, and the insertion screws are tightened.
