<p>The present invention provides a smart cooking device (1,2) and operation thereof, in which information is transferred between a cooking stove (1) and a cooking appliance (2) that are separate in a wireless communication manner, temperature of the cooking appliance (2) is precisely controlled, and cooking operation is automated. The cooking device (1,2) includes the cooking stove (1) and the cooking appliance (2). The cooking appliance (2) includes a temperature sensor (22), an electronic circuit (23), a wireless communication module (24), an antenna (25) and batteries (26), which are accommodated in a sealed space outside the body (21) of the cooking appliance (2). The electronic circuit (23) includes wireless module with low power consumption. The cooking stove (1) includes a smart controller (6), a wireless communication module (4), an antenna (5) and a heating element controller (603) which control on/off and heat quantity of the heating element (601).
