The invention relates to a device for dispensing a fluid. The device comprises a body (4) for housing at least one cartridge (18) containing a fluid to be dispensed; a support surface having an opening 16 adapted to receive said cartridge (18); and a cover portion (22). The cover portion (22) is adapted to selectively substantially close the opening (16) when the device is in a dispensing configuration. Further, at least a part of the cover portion (22) is visible when the device is in the dispensing configuration.
