<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery excellent in output characteristics, a battery pack and an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte battery is equipped with a cathode 2, an anode 3 containing a lithium compound as an anode active material and an anode collector 3a with the anode active material supported, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. A Log differential pore volume distribution curve by a mercury press-fit method of the anode 3, has a peak in the range of a pore diameter of 0.03 μm or more and 0.2 μm or less, and also it attenuates from the top of the peak toward a decreasing direction of the pore diameter, with a pore specific area (except weight of the anode collector 3a) by the mercury press-fit method of 6 m<SP>2</SP>/g or more and 100 m<SP>2</SP>/g or less, and a ratio of a pore volume with a pore diameter of 0.05 μm or less occupying in a whole pore volume by the mercury press-fit method of 20% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
