<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of informing a user of an objectively convenient function out of functions which are not used frequently. <P>SOLUTION: The functions which are not used frequently are extracted out of a plurality of functions of digital multifunction equipment (S11). Whether or not an image is printed by a printing part is judged (S12). The pre-extracted functions which are not used frequently are demonstrated (S13). When the demonstration is finished (S14), the user is allowed to input evaluation (S15). The results of evaluation are totaled for every demonstrated function and stored in a hard disk 16 (S16).
