SERVER DEVICE, PROGRAM, AND CONTENT DISTRIBUTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform live distribution of a broadcast content in a home network.

SOLUTION: A server device comprises: a receiving means (S11) for receiving broadcast from a predetermined broadcast station; a writing means (S12, WP) for sequentially converting receiving signals from the receiving means into data in a predetermined form and sequentially writing the data into a predetermined buffer; a reading means (RP) for sequentially reading the data sequentially written into the buffer by the writing means; and a creation means (S13) for creating a file having a name corresponding to the broadcast station. Transmission means (S14-S17) are further provided for sequentially reading the data sequentially written into the buffer when a distribution request designating the same file name as the file created by the creation means is received from a client device, and sequentially transmitting the read data to the client device as data of the file having the designated file name.
