<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium provided with a tinge of offset printing coating paper inexpensively, excellent in ink absorbency and capable of obtaining favorable print quality. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording medium is formed on one side or both the sides of a base paper mainly made of wood pulp by providing an ink accepting layer mainly made of a binder and kaoline, in which particles having diameter measured by a laser diffraction method of ≥0.4 and <4.2 μm occupies at least 64% in volumetric integrating value, under the condition that the content ratio of the binder is set to be ≥0.5 and <8 mass parts as let the sum total of inorganic pigment in the ink accepting layer be 100 pts.mass, and, at the same time, the content ratio of kaoline to 100 pts.mass of the inorganic pigment is set to be 60 pts.mass and further the surface roughness of the ink accepting layer under the conditions according to JIS P 8151 or under the clamping pressure of 1,000 kPa and the employment of the hard backing is set to be ≥0.8 and <1.6 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
