<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorant for a road marking material, which does not contain noxious elements therein, is excellent in coloring power, hiding power, light resistance, and heat resistance, and exerts little surface activity of a surface of the colorant, and to provide the road marking material which undergoes little change in color with the lapse of time, exerts excellent retroreflective ability, and contains the colorant therein. <P>SOLUTION: The colorant for the road marking material is made of composite particle powder. Specifically in the composite particle powder, each inorganic particle is made of a white pigment such as titanium oxide and zinc oxide, or an extender such as silica and calcium carbonate, and the surface of the particle is covered with adhesive paste to which an organic pigment further adheres. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
