<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase user convenience in selecting an item corresponding to a function from a menu screen while keeping the visibility of items in the menu screen intact. <P>SOLUTION: A control part of a cellphone sets a display size of each item in a menu screen when detecting the input of a signal representing a depression from a menu key of an operation part. Frequently used items are displayed in a display size (large). Every time a direction key of the operation part is depressed to the right, the control part of the cellphone moves a cursor in a forward direction over the items displayed in the display size (large) (Step S5, S6).
