<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile device which requires no USB cable, nor external memory such as SD cards, resulting in exclusion a space for inserting the external memory, for reduced weight and size, relies on no external memory for reduced cost of a purchaser, and prevents dust or water from sticking to a USB jack. <P>SOLUTION: A memory of large capacity is incorporated in a device body 1. A lid 3 opened/closed by an opening/closing means 2, a USB jack 4, and a base part 5 of the USB jack are vertically arranged on the side part of the device body. In the opening/closing means, a pinion gear 6 arranged in the device body and a teeth part 7a on the upper side, and a rack 7 on one side to engage with a pinion gear and a teeth part 8a on the lower side, engage with a rack 8 on the other side to engage with the pinion gear and a teeth part 7b on the lower side of the rack on one side. It comprises: a first gear 9 provided on the deep side of the base part of the USB jack; and a second gear 10 which engages with a teeth part 8b on the upper side of the rack on the other side and is provided on the deep side of the lid.
