<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a metallic tone glittery coating film which is excellent in a base-concealing property and imparts a high degree sense of glitter having both of pearlescent gloss and metallic gloss, and a stereoscopic sense of glitter. <P>SOLUTION: The metallic tone glitter paint film is formed by successively applying: a first base metallic paint; a second base glitter paint prepared by compounding a fine scale-like pigment or the fine scale-like pigment and aluminum pigment (C); and a clear paint, and baking so as to be hardened. The first base metallic paint contains (A) an aluminum pigment having an average particle diameter D<SB>50</SB>of 13-40μm and an average thickness of 0.4-2.5μm, and (B) aluminum pigment having an average particle diameter D<SB>50</SB>of 4-30μm and an average thickness of 0.02 to <0.4μm, wherein the mass ratio (A/B) of solid fractions of the aluminum pigments (A), (B) is 90/10 to 10/90, and solid fraction mass (A+B) of the aluminum pigments (A), (B) per resin solid fraction 100 pts.mass is 5 to 50 pts.mass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
