PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation operating adaptor capable of facilitating an installation work by enabling to work stably, even in a working environment such as under a strong wind, by holding in a desired posture a cap member to be installed on the bottom aperture of a cylindrical cutout, regardless of the direction of hanging down of the cap member. SOLUTION: The installation operating adaptor 10 which has a rod-shape member 12 that is formed so as to surround the periphery of the projection part of a cap member of cylindrical cutout and is capable of mounting the body of the cap member; a receiving member 13 which supports the lower end part of the projection part of the cap member in state of mounting it; and a wall member to connect this rod-shape member 12 and the receiving member 13, is installed at the top end of an operating rod, having a length necessary for installation work of the cap member. The top end part 12b of the rod-shape member is bent more to the front side than the extension face of the horizontal part 12a that extends so as to surround the periphery of the projection part.
