PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the optimum finned tube heat exchanger which lowers input, and improves its heat transferring performance and assembling workability, and also to provide a heat exchanger unit and an air conditioner using the same. SOLUTION: This finned tube heat exchanger comprises: a number of plate-shaped fins arranged in parallel with each other and having cut and raised portions on a downstream side in a gas flowing direction; and flat heat transfer tubes arranged in a plurality of stages in the direction orthogonal to the gas flowing direction and having the shape such that an axial length in the gas flowing direction is long on its cross-section, and cut and raised portion end faces of the fins and the flat tube end faces are approximately matched with each other on the downstream side. Zigzag unevenness is formed in the gas flowing direction, brazing filler metal for brazing connection is disposed on the downstream side with respect to the gas flowing direction, of the flat heat transfer tubes, and upstream side parts in the gas flowing direction of the flat heat transfer tubes are inclined downward in the direction of gravitational force.
