PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus switching apparatus which efficiently utilizes an acceleration sensor, to provide a portable terminal using the same, and to provide a bus switching method and a control method of the portable terminal. SOLUTION: The bus switching apparatus is provided with: the acceleration sensor; hardware; a selector for switching the hardware; and a control means for controlling the selector on the basis of signals from the acceleration sensor, thereby providing the bus switching apparatus efficiently utilizing the acceleration sensor, the portable terminal using the bus switching apparatus, the bus switching method and the control method of the portable terminal.
