PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique with which stability of circuit operation can be achieved with respect to a sustain driving circuit of a PDP device. SOLUTION: In a sustain driving circuit device 50-1 for supplying a pulse for sustain discharge in the PDP device, a power recovery circuit 100 has a coil (L0) 150, a switch (SL), and a diode (DL), and a Vs clamp circuit 200 has a switch (SC). In the power recovery circuit 100, the switch (SL) is connected to the side of a panel capacity (C), and the coil (L0) is connected to the side of a power line of a Vs medium potential, and the diode (DL) for clamping and a power source (Vc) connected to it are connected to a node between the coil (L0) and the switch (SL).
