PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure between a column or a beam and a fireproof partition wall enabling the easy installation by a simple structure while holding excellent fire resistance and sound isolation. SOLUTION: The upper end part of the fireproof partition wall 13 is abutted on and joined to the lower surface 12a of a steel structural member 12. A plurality of formed fireproof covering members 15 are disposed around the steel structural member 12 through a plurality of backing members 14 fitted to the steel structural member 12. The formed fireproof covering members 15 covering the lower part of the steel structural member 12 are divided into two parts on both sides of the fireproof partition wall 13. The ends of the partitioned formed fireproof covering members 15 are joined to the surface of the fireproof partition wall 13. The predetermined fireproof performance of the steel structural member 12 is secured by integrating the formed fireproof covering members 15 with the fireproof partition wall 13.
