PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin wire former of roll blade dehydration type, which realizes a means for securing a fixed fiber dispersibility during variation of raw material conditions by the minimum control. SOLUTION: The method for dehydrating a paper machine former, which puts a paper raw material liquid between two wires forming each loop and dehydrates the paper raw material liquid while traveling the wires comprises a first dehydration process for dehydrating the paper raw material liquid 7 supplied from a head box 6 to between the wires 1 and 2 along a suction forming roll 4 and a second dehydration process for traveling the wires 1 and 2 nipping the paper raw material liquid 7 to a dehydration apparatus in which a flexible dehydration plate 31 facing the wire 1 side is arranged at the downstream side of the suction forming roll and a stationary dehydration blade 40 facing the wire 2 is arranged and dehydrating the paper raw material liquid. The vacuum value of the suction means 65 of the roll 4 is controlled so that the dehydration amount of white water w by the flexible dehydration blade 31 is 2-5 wt.% the flow rate of the paper raw material liquid in the head box 6.
