PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commercially suitable method for producing an aryl ether compound by which the aryl ether compound can be produced under a mild condition without requiring complicated operation. SOLUTION: The method for producing the aryl ether compound comprises reacting an aryl halide with a hydroxy compound and a phosphazene compound in the absence of a silylation agent under the mild condition without requiring the complicated operation.
