PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grill apparatus capable of stably igniting an upper burner while a pilot burner is omitted. SOLUTION: The grill apparatus includes burning state changeover means 100 for controlling a fuel supply state and an ignition operation, based on the command of a manual command means, thereby respectively changing-over the operation states of the upper burner 2a and lower burners 2b, 2c between a burning state and a burning stop state. When the command for changing-over the respective upper burner 2a and the lower burners 2b, 2c to be the burning states or the command for changing-over the upper burner 2a to be the burning state is issued in a state where the lower burners 2b, 2c are being changed-over to be the burning states and also the upper burner 2a is to be the burning stop state, the burning state changeover means 100 performs upper and lower burning by which the lower burners 2b, 2c are changed-over to be the burning stop states, and then, the respective lower burners 2b, 2c and the upper burner 2a are simultaneously or substantially simultaneously changed-over to be the burning states from the burning stop states.
