<p>In such a paper container as a bottomed body portion (3) and a top portion (4) closing the upper part thereof are formed of a cardboard laminating a thermoplastic resin layer on the surface and the back, a first half-cut (7) becoming a straw mouth (12) is provided in the top portion (4) from the back side, a second half-cut (8) is provided to surround the first half-cut (7) from the surface and the straw mouth (12) is opened by performing interlayer stripping at the part surrounded by the second half-cut (8) from the surface, the second half-cut (8) is provided with a stripping beginning end portion (9) downward across the planar part (2) of the body portion (3) while crossing a top lateral rule (10) on the boundary of the top portion (4) and the body portion (3), and first folding lines (11) traversing the stripping beginning end portion (9) of the second half-cut (8) or aligned with the distal end (9a) of the stripping beginning end portion (9) and continuous to the opposite ends of the top lateral rule (10) or the vicinity thereof are provided in the planar part (2) of the body portion (3).</p>
