A vibration table (10) for testing products employs threaded inserts (26) for mounting the test products (52) or fixtures (52) therefor on the table (10). The threaded inserts (26) have enlarged and elongated threaded shafts (30) that engage threaded openings (36) in the upper surface of the table (10), with enlarged heads (32) on the inserts being positioned adjacent the outer surface of the table (10) or the outer surface of an insulation layer (20) mounted on the table (10). The inserts (26) have elongated internally threaded openings (34) therein, to which the test products (52) or fixtures (52) are bolted by elongated bolts (50). The inserts (26) enhance the transmission of vibration forces to the test product (52) with or without an insulating layer (20). They also provide improved temperature uniformity by providing air circulation between the test product (52) and the table (10).
