<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a random number generation device, for attaining a high random number generation bit rate while suppressing the circuit scale. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises an amplifier 101 which amplifies a differential component between a noise signal and a reference signal and outputs an amplification signal; a plurality of binary circuits 102-1 to 102-n, which obtains a plurality of binary signals by binarization based on different unique thresholds of the respective circuits; and a logic operation circuit 103 which computes an exclusive OR of the plurality of binary signals and outputs a random number pulse train. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
