<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sirocco fan and an air conditioner equipped with the same, capable of reducing a noise value and a rotating speed when providing a predetermined air volume. <P>SOLUTION: This sirocco fan has a scroll 6, a fan body rotatably arranged in this scroll 6 and having a large number of blade arranged in a cylindrical shape, and a motor for rotatingly driving this fan body. The scroll 6 has substantially parallel two straight line parts 12 and 13 on a spiral external shape, and a rotary shaft of the motor is positioned near the straight line part 12 nearer to a tongue part 8 of the scroll. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
