<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve correction accuracy of luminance unevenness in a light-emitting display device. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting display device has light-emitting elements and element drives Tr2 which control current flowing in the light-emitting elements in the respective pixels and is provided with a light-receiving sensor circuit which detects emitted light of the light-emitting elements inside a display region. A drive circuit 200 for driving a display part 110 has a creation part 330 which makes the element drive Tr2 operate in a linear region to emit the light emission elements; detects the characteristic variations of the light-receiving sensor circuit, based on a detection signal obtained from the corresponding light-receiving sensor circuit and creates a sensor adjustment signal Va for adjusting the characteristic variations and data signal correcting parts (350, 250), which makes the element drive Tr2 operate in a saturated region, to emit the light-emitting element; detects the luminance variations of a pixel circuit, based on the detection signal obtained by a light-receiving sensor circuit 140; and corrects the luminance variations, after adjusting the sensor characteristic variations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
