<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently quickly input a composition in a pen input computer. <P>SOLUTION: This device/method has a liquid crystal display panel 8, a ROM 2 for storing a plurality of words and a plurality of model sentences, a pressure sensitive tablet 9 and an input pen 25 for performing an input or the like into a software keyboard displayed on the liquid crystal display panel 8, and a CPU 1 for retrieving a candidate word to be displayed on the liquid crystal display panel 8 from the ROM 2, based on an input from the pressure sensitive tablet 9 and the input pen 25, and inputs the composition by selecting desired words out of the candidate words displayed on the liquid crystal display panel 8, by the pressure sensitive tablet 9 and the input pen 25. The CPU 1 dynamically changes therein the displayed candidate words, by dynamically changing a retrieval condition, in response to a change in the key input operation state of the software keyboard. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
