<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a template pulse generating circuit suitable for low power consumption in pulse communication, a communication device, and its communication method. <P>SOLUTION: The template pulse generating circuit 820 continuously generates template pulses in a synchronization acquisition mode in which synchronization acquisition (823) is performed in accordance with a control signal CTL from a system controller 830 at detection of a received pulse, and after synchronization acquisition is substantially established template pulse generating states are switched and template pulses are intermittently outputed in a synchronization tracking mode, thereby using continuous template pulses at the beginning of pulse communication to quickly establish synchronization acquisition, and thereafter, intermittently outputting template pulses, leading to a reduction in power consumption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
