<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discount method and a price-reduction barcode label, which can prevent the discount of price-reduction merchandise from being omitted in a register, easily scan a barcode including reduced-price information and reduce the possibility of illicit action. <P>SOLUTION: A part of a price barcode 23 before price-reduction processing is covered with a blindfold part 18 so as not to be read, and for a vertically large barcode, a barcode correction part 16 is cut off from a visible information display part 17 on a position of a cutting line 19 and the cut barcode correction part 16 is turned at 90° and stuck to the price barcode before price-reduction processing so as to completely cover at least one bar of the barcode. When such a barcode correction part is tried to be peeled off from discount merchandise, a circular paper piece 24 in a punched portion 20 is separated from a label piece 13 and left in the merchandise M, so that illicit resticking of a label can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
