<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generation device and an image generation program capable of performing the switching processing of a 3D moving image by cross-fade. <P>SOLUTION: This image generation device is provided with: a first image generation part (201) for generating a first image V1 as the origin of switching; a second image generation part (202) for generating a second image V2 as the destination of switching; an image storage part (307) for storing one of the first image V1 and the second image V2; and a composition part (309) for compounding the other image of the first image V1 and the second image V2 with the stored image for every pixel while changing the rate of the other image to one image.
