DEHUMIDIFICATION ELEMENT, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF DEHUMIDIFICATION ELEMENT AND DEHUMIDIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidification element with a catalyst deodorization function for supplying a highly efficient deodorization effect while suppressing the decline of a dehumidification performance at a low manufacture cost, for a dehumidification element for deodorizing and decomposing odor components simultaneously with moisture in a dehumidifier used when dehumidifying a room.

SOLUTION: By impregnating the dehumidification element carrying a moisture absorbent with a manganese ion solution or the mixed ion solution of manganese and cobalt and calcinating it at a burning temperature to turn it to manganese oxide or a cobalt manganese composite oxide, the dehumidification element with the catalyst deodorization function in which an atomized deodorization catalyst is attached on the moisture absorbent is obtained.
