PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device by reducing a mode transition operation of an operator and shortening the diagnostic hours, and to provide an image display method. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with transceiving means (1, 2, 3) for obtaining the receiving signal from a subject by scanning the subject with ultrasonic waves, an image forming means (4) for forming a plurality of ultrasonic images from the receiving signal, and a display means (5) having a first mode for displaying at least B mode image and a colored doppler image at the same time among the above plurality of ultrasonic images formed by the image forming means, and a second mode for displaying the B mode image, the colored doppler image, and a trace image at the same time.
