PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device which has reduced contact resistance. SOLUTION: The electrooptical device has, on a substrate, a conductive layer 402, a transparent electrode 9a, an inter-layer insulating film 44 formed between the conductive layer and transparent electrode, a contact hole 89 bored in the inter-layer insulating film to electrically connect the conductive layer and transparent electrode to each other at a contact part, and a titanium oxide film 17 provided between the conductive layer and transparent electrode at least at the contact part.
