PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeping prevention device which can maintain security and is easily utilized by a user. SOLUTION: The peeping prevention device 10 includes a control part 12, a photographing part 14, a face extracting part 16, a collating part 18, a storing part 20, a notification preparing part 22 and an outputting part 24, photographs the user by the photographing part 14 to create an image, determines whether there is the face of a third person who is not the user in the image to thereby determine to have the possibility of being peeped by the third person and notifies the user of the possibility of being peeped. This can prevent peeping in accordance with a situation, and it is possible to provide a peeping prevention method and device which is easily used by the user while maintaining security.
