PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication route construction method capable of setting a communication address and constructing a communication route in shorter initialization time, and a communication terminal to which the method is applied. SOLUTION: The communication route construction method for constructing the communication route to a master terminal by a slave terminal has the transmission process of a hello packet, the transmission process of an address request packet and the transmission process of an address response packet. In the hello packet 80a, communication route information and route communication quality information of the communication route to the master terminal are housed when the communication route to the master terminal is constructed. In the address request packet 80b and the address response packet 80c, the equipment ID of the transmission terminal of the address request packet 80b, a terminal ID as the communication address in the transmission terminal of the hello packet 80a and the link communication quality information of a communication path between the transmission terminal of the hello packet 80a and the transmission terminal of the address request packet 80b are housed.
