PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce size and noise of a signal processing apparatus outputting a maximum value signal or a minimum value signal, and an individual signal from each photoelectric conversion pixel. SOLUTION: A signal processing apparatus has a plurality of photoelectric conversion pixels; a voltage follower circuit for maximum value detection; a voltage follower circuit for minimum value detection; a switching means switching an operation of sequentially and electrically connecting an output part of each voltage follower circuit for maximum value detection to a first output line to output an individual signal to the first output line and an operation of electrically connecting output parts of a plurality of voltage follower circuits for maximum value detection to the first output line at the same time to output a maximum value signal to the first output line; and a noise removing means provided at a former stage of the voltage follower circuit for maximum value detection and a former stage of the voltage follower circuit for minimum value detection.
