PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of being thinned and strengthening rigidity of a housing. SOLUTION: A mobile telephone set 1 includes: a second housing 5 comprising a counter surface part 5a; a circuit board 29 disposed within the second housing 5 and arranged in a layered manner on the counter surface part 5a; and a battery 31 disposed within the second housing 5 at such a position as to be superposed on the counter surface part 5a and not to be superposed on the circuit board 29 in the direction where the counter surface part 5a and the circuit board 29 are layered. The second housing 5 includes: a resin part 55 which is formed of a resin, constitutes at least a part of the counter surface part 5a and strides over the circuit board 29 and the battery 31; and a sheet metal part 57 which is formed of a metal having an elastic modulus higher than that of the resin, constitutes at least a part of the counter surface part 5a, is embedded in the resin part 55 at least partially and strides over the circuit board 29 and the battery 31.
